Palm Reading Open Mic
It was Palm Sunday. Here is my pagan take on the day.
dr. no says YES
we were hanging out thinking about the brain and love and I remembered Jim Dine’s signature heart shape…Jasper Johns with heart. It sounds like a hollywood high concept pitch….but still true none the less.
Card Bored Open Mic
a bit late, but it’s been a nutty sort of a week
Samson and Delilah
Delilah came and danced as I tried to shake the building down…. or atleast finish the whiteboard animation as best as I can. Actually she was a new face to open mics… a tremendous voice, with tremendous stories and obviously tremendous hair. Later she sang Sam Phillips beneath the BQE acapella and you couldn’t even hear the trucks. Some pipes!
Burning Man
Sweet Victory
You know suddenly sometimes there is God, or a shout in the street, a girl from California and whatever that magic lightening is, it changes you and you are no longer the thing before god, or the shout in the street, or the beautiful girl. You are you, but somehow changed. Somehow new again… like a scarab beatle, but I digress….It’s that little souvenire of a terrible year that makes my heart go…..

Victorious Open Mic

A quick no edit upload of last nights Noah’s Flood-like open mics. This whole town is under water and they keep swimming to the layer, the warmest layer….
Everyone sounded particularly good and we showed video from California and Paris. What a long strange trip it’s been.
