Often in book drawing performances, I would tear up pages and glue them back together in collage…. something about the preciousness of this archive of Fluxus artists has made me shy away from that technique. I’ve wanted to keep the same number of pages so as not to destroy any of the artists they represent (even as their names and work becomes illegable on one side…often with collage material from other sources)… However, here is a digital smash up of two drawings… I think it works better than the source pictures, but not enough to destroy them.
