Went walking around Chelsea and paper purchasing. Big hits of the day were street art combing Van Halen and F. Scott Fitzgerald as some sort of metaphor for America on the teeter totter and also seeing the bones of the new Frank Ghery building which is teetering or tottering, or something. I’m sure there’ll be some sort of sexy surface skin slapped on it, but right now it’s all askew columns… it looks like a project built of cardboard and paper towel tubes that got caught in the rain. Something will be lost with all that titanium.
