Another wood block variation, only this time I tried to paint it with colors I wouldn’t normally use (running thin on my usual favorites) then invert the image to its negative in Photoshop and collage the two versions back into eachother. I suppose the end goal of all this might be to make a series of images that could be digitally printed onto something like vinyl that you wouldn’t normally associate with fine art. Who knows? There’s something so wrong-headed about making a very raw hand made thing and then printing it on plastic… so wrong it might be right. For the moment it is painting only for electric distribution… temporary permanence.
