A new look to the sidebar
Commentpress has been updated on GitHub today with a new look to the sidebar. In response to requests from some of those who use it, the Table of Contents, Archive and Comments sidebars all have tabbed headers now, making switching between them easier and more obvious. Hi David, thanks for the report. There used to be a popup warning but I see that it is now gone. I will post a fix in due course and notify you.

I have been using Commentpress for a while – latest project (not yet commenced but listed here as website). Also used when reviewing submitted journal papers. A handy way to add comments, though it doesn’t complteely replace reading the physicall copy.
A fairly significant operational issue that I have encountered is that one can write a comment relating to a paragraph and, either inadvertently or, in enthusiastic haste, click on another paragraph before submitting the comment just written.
The written comment is then lost!
A small tweak/update would be to add a user warning when clicking outside the pending comment. For example:’please submit current comment before starting a new one’.
