A similar spirit seems to have moved the Bible Society of Australia, which just <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblesociety.com.au\/smsbible\/index.html\">translated<\/a> all 31,173 verses of the of the new and old testaments (Contemporary English Version) into SMS-style english &#8212; the abbreviated patois of mobile phone text messaging.
